Where to fish in the area

There’s so much to delight and entice the keen fisherman at Cairnryan Caravan Park, with River, Boat and Loch fishing to choose from.

The River Stinchar is excellent for trout and salmon fishing. It is 54kms long and rises in Shallochhill, before flowing through the Stinchar Valley to the villages of Barr, Pinwherry, Colmonell and into the sea at Ballantrae. It has two main tributaries, the Duisk and the Assel. For further details regarding fishing on the Stinchar, please contact the office.

At Three Lochs Holiday Park…

As a guest at Cairnryan Caravan Park, you can take advantage of discounted fishing on any of the lochs at our sister park.
Our well stocked lochs are bursting with trout, bream, rudd, roach, silver bream, carp and many more. There’s also boat fishing on Loch Ronald – with boat hire available from the office – and night shelters on Lochs Heron and Ronald are permitted.
