Cairnryan is situated just four miles from Stranraer on the A77 in an area which is peaceful and tranquil and where many outdoor pursuits are popular.

Cairnryan Caravan Park is a fantastic holiday destination for everyone from families to couples and even individuals will find there is plenty to do both on site and in the surrounding area.  The nearest town is Stranraer with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.  The pretty fishing village of Port Patrick is 12 miles away with its quaint harbour, olde-worlde pubs and several antique and curiosity shops.  Just an hour’s drive away is Ayr, which offers all the entertainment you could want with plenty of excellent restaurants, children’s soft play centres, crazy golf, sandy beaches and premier golf courses.
